At GOMMAIRE we are honoured to be part of the serene yet stunning interior design project in Mykonos, Greece, led by Lola Séguéla and featured in an article in ELLE Decoration, written by Laurence Dougier and featuring photographs of Nicolas Mathéus. This architectural masterpiece, nestled against the Aegean rock face, reflects the ethos of blending organically with nature—a vision seamlessly aligned with our brand’s philosophy of Organic Living.
Enhancing the natural
beauty of the surroundings
Séguéla’s approach to the property emphasized a simple, no-frills aesthetic to complement the natural beauty surrounding the space. Our furniture and decor fit perfectly within this vision, with their use of natural materials, neutral tones, and timeless designs enhancing the tranquil atmosphere.
Key pieces from the GOMMAIRE collections played a pivotal role in this harmonious interior
Outdoor Living: The Edge sofas and Anton coffee tables transform the shaded second lounge overlooking the Aegean Sea into a luxurious yet understated sanctuary. Meanwhile, various Yasmin sun loungers and Floor square coffee tables add comfort and style to the expansive poolside area.
Dining Elegance: Under the pergola on the terrace, the made-to-measure teak Table Mia, paired with Armchair Sally and Bar Stool Alexi, creates a dining space that blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings.
Indoor Charm: In the kitchen, the natural teak Alexi bar stools flank a bespoke concrete kitchen island, continuing the organic theme indoors. The Sergei armchairs in smoked teak bring warmth and character to the living room by the fireplace.
Private Retreat: The Orly bedside table in smoked teak complements the natural textures in one of the serene bedrooms, echoing the organic ethos of the overall design.
This collaboration exemplifies how our brand’s pieces not only furnish a space but elevate it, creating an atmosphere of peace, timelessness, and subtle luxury. The project is a celebration of harmony - between architecture, interior design, and the breathtaking landscape of the Cyclades.
